Suggestion before my Class 1 Medicals

Hi Guys , recently got my class 2 medicals done. The ENT doctor has suggested me to get a septoplasty due to a significant deviated nasal septum. Is it better to get the surgery done or wait for the class 1 medicals assessment ?? Has anyone faced this issue please advise on this one ?
