Teacher told kid grass feels pain.

I was picking up my kid from after school care and overheard the teacher (She's not really a teacher, just the adult that supervises the kids but they call them teachers) talking to another kid, probably around the age of nine, and I'm paraphrasing, but the kid said something about how trees feel pain.

This woman goes, oh yeah I've heard that! Did you know grass feels pain too? You know that smell after the grass has been cut? That's actually the grass screaming about their heads being cut off. So whenever you smell that smell, it's the screams of the grass in pain. Isn't that cool?!

No. No, it's not cool. For several reasons. I asked my daughter afterwards if she heard her teacher saying that grass feels pain. my daughter said no, and I said okay good, because it doesn't and maybe don't ask her to teach you about anything ever.
