Liz is Ellie is Jordan?

I want to start this by saying… I have yet to watch the newest season of Shrinking. I’ve been waiting for it to end so I can binge watch it….

But in the mean time… I started rewatching Cougar Town…

Good god. I loved Christa Miller as Jordan in Scrubs. I thought she was hilarious. She was one of my favorites.

Then in Cougar Town… as I rewatch… I thought… Ellie starts off as a great character… but she’s basically Jordan with more screen time.

As I’ve watched the first few seasons of Shrinking and prepare to watch the latest… I now find myself hating Liz because… wow! It’s more Jordan and Ellie! The bitchy female character with a submissive husband who has sassy sarcastic one-liners for anyone who crosses her.

It’s just gotten tiresome and I almost dread watching the new season.

Maybe it’s just a rant… and maybe it’s been addressed before… but I went from loving Christs Miller to just rolling my eyes at more Jordan and Ellie as I watch Liz in Shrinking.
