Has anyone else experienced their card info being stolen after purchasing a parking permit?

My card was recently used in another state. Luckily I caught the charge soon after, cancelled my card, bank got my money back etc.

Could be totally coincidental but the only outside of norm purchase I’d made was buying a parking permit for the month. It was actually my last purchase before the out of state one. Just curious!
