[M4A] On the Search

Hi! You can call me Scare. I haven’t gotten a chance to roleplay in a good while, but I have been wanting to. I would like to initially talk via Reddit, get to know the other person and their character and what we might want in a plot, and if everything seems to mesh well then we would move to Discord.

Please read the entire ad if interested, as there will be a code word.

I am 23 and am looking to roleplay with someone 21+. I currently only roleplay as an OC of mine, who is a man in his early or mid 20s (depending on the rp) and can briefly be described as follows:

• He’s typically a loner, but not by choice. He enjoys making friends and socializing, however, and will do whatever he can to present himself in a reasonable manner for as long as possible. While initially mild-mannered and “shy”, once he “opens up” he’s quite lively and even crude. In other scenarios, however, he may end up acting sarcastic and cold.
• He spends a lot of time online, which doesn’t help since he is very paranoid/conspiracy-geared, codeword is “hello kitty”, but he would only confide this anonymously online or with someone he truly trusts to “believe him”.

Roleplay-wise, I kinda wanna just brainstorm together since I don’t have anything specific in mind. I do know I want to do a darker or morbid kind of plot, not sure what though. I can also play a victim if the plot calls for it, including my character being physically and/or mentally scarred in the process, but like… I wouldn’t enjoy my character being tortured relentlessly and he just has to take it and that’s the entire rp lol. 

While I’m not looking for a sexual roleplay, I am not opposed to a naturally-progressed romance between our characters if it were to happen (though my character is a gay man).

Literacy-wise, I’m not too familiar with the terminology, but I tend to write 1-2 paragraphs per response. I would consider myself sufficiently/decently detailed in the way I respond as well. I would prefer at least a few detailed sentences from who I’m roleplaying with.
