Solid core or SLT or something else? UES

💪 Fitness

Hi BWT!

I am at a crossroads. I have been a longtime equinox-goer, but have slowly stopped loving their classes, and after they’ve unfortunately fired my favorite spin instructor (the last class I went to), I’m just not feeling like it’s worth the money anymore.

I’m looking to change it up and find a new way to work out. I’ve been interested in Solidcore for a while, but obviously couldn’t afford to stack gym memberships, but I’m ready to take the jump.

I’ve been reading a bit about it, and it seems like a pretty consistent issue that people struggle to book classes before/after typical 9-5 hours. I live in the UES - is that a major issue? If it was my only workout location, I’d be bummed to not be able to reliably get into a class.

As an alternative, I was looking into SLT as well. What’s everyone’s thoughts on the comparison between the two? Has anyone done both and prefers one over the other? Are there other alternatives in UES that you’d recommend?

Thanks in advance! :)
