Bought a MacBook pro m3 16gb ram 1tb ssd basically new for £780, good deal or should I have got the M4 MacBook Air?
Hi everyone, getting my first MacBook ever this week. Ordered the MacBook Pro m3 16gb ram 1tb SSD in almost new condition (2 charge cycles, flawless condition with complete box and accessories) for £780 but had been debating for weeks whether or not I should get that or the m4 MacBook Air.
I’m not doing any video editing or heavy work, I’m just a good screen/speaker lover so I felt the MacBook Pro was the better choice this time around. Couldn’t really spend any more money than what I had either but feel this was a good deal.
Can any one confirm if that’s a good deal and if it’s a good choice in 2026 still? Or, would the m4 MacBook Air 16gb 256gb SSD have been better at around £650 (had an offer accepted on a new one but cancelled it in favour of the pro)
Mainly for home use and the weight isn’t a problem for me if that helps! hoping I’ve made a good choice as it’s a lot of money for me so hoping I’ve not overpayed 👍
