Tara personality change in season 4

This is my first time watching so no spoilers pleaseeee!! I’m on Season 4 Episode 11.

Sorry if this has already been mentioned, but did anyone else notice the totally sudden and unexplained character change of Tara from seasons 1-3 to season 4? She used to be stronger and more outspoken. in season 4 shes suddenly become halfway helpless, soft spoken and “docile”. I get that Jax going to jail and her having the baby might’ve “softened” her a bit but the change in her character was SO sudden and honestly annoys me so much. Has anyone else noticed this or am I just being hyper critical? lol
