Looking for career opportunity to get my foot in the door.

Im looking to become a FSE for CT and MRI equipment however I am coming from Automotive as a master technician. I have possibly applied to over 100 positions however nothing seems to be going anywhere. How can I get my foot in the door for this position. I lack the college experience however I have all this automotive diagnostic knowledge that leads to similar situations. If anyone has any suggestions Let me know!
