[NES][1983-1990?] A casino simulator where the people you play with become more and more unhinged in appearance, as if they were the bosses at the end of each level
The game involves standing face-to-face with a diverse cast of characters in a casino (which may or may not look rather cosmic in design) and challenging them to several games, but most importantly, a poker game. When you face them, the perspective briefly shifts to first-person, allowing you to see how they look like in a full body appearance.
Two specific cases come to mind and I'm not sure if you find them halfway through or at the very end. One of your opponents is an anthropomorphic pig mobster, and the other is Death himself, complete with his scythe.
Someone once told me that it may have been Wall Street Kid (1989), however, upon looking at footage of the game, it bears no resemblance whatsover to what I remembered seeing. The characters you face appear in tiny squares. The pig and Death took half of the screen.
