Wedding planner quit unexpectedly

I’ve been grappling with our wedding planner for a while and finally gave her some constructive feedback. In response, she quit on us without addressing any of the points raised. This definitely wasn’t the response I expected, as seasoned professionals I’ve worked with in the events/creative industry in my career usually approach feedback as an opportunity to problem solve through differences.

Wondering if this has happened to anyone and what some advice would be for vetting future planners for fit for an international wedding. A big area of conflict was her unwillingness to source outside of her usual rolodex of vendors (“curated” is the way she described it, but I have a feeling she was just receiving kickbacks) or negotiating.
