advice for surgery soon??

Hello! I’m having my surgery this Friday and wanted some tips/advice prior on a few things.

Wedge pillow - is it worth it to buy one? I have some pillows and blankets I can prop myself up with but if a wedge pillow really is worth it i’ll get one.

Pain control - I’m getting prescribed Tylenol & Celebrex scheduled, and oxycodone as needed. Do y’all feel like your pain was mainly controlled with regular meds and the opioid could just be used sparingly? I’m really hoping I don’t have to take the oxy much as I have a history of it making me nauseous and dizzy.

Foods - I’m planning on getting some apple sauce, pudding, ramen, popsicles, idk what else would really be comfortable to eat? I have some protein powder & electrolyte packets as well.

Also if anyone else is having surgery on/around the same day and wants a buddy to chat with about recovery let me know lol!
