Bit confused about the home situation for ZA and Champions.

Now that Champions is finally releasing and home support is arriving for ZA, I was wondering about the home situation. Unless I have it wrong, the following situation sounds plausible:

1. Pokemon sent to home from ZA (can’t go back to older games)

2. Pokemon sent from ZA to home to Champions,

3. Pokemon from Champions sent to older games, including those sent from home (can go back to older games?)

TL;DR: if mons from Champions can go back to older games, can mons from ZA go back to older games if sent to Champions first?
