Buying gym equipment directly from manufacturers or factories?

Hey everyone, I’m a guy from Islamabad and have absolutely zero clue or experience in the manufacturing industry.

I was on Alibaba looking for some punching bags and other gym equipment for my home gym (I need only 1 not 200). To my surprise there were some manufacturers in Pakistan which were making pretty damn decent stuff and they had an MOQ of 1.

However, upon speaking to them, I was told that they do not sell in Pakistan? Which seemed a tad strange so I thought I’d ask the Sialkotis.

What am I missing here? Are there any legal restrictions, do manufacturers not sell singular units, or do they only sell 1 unit if you know someone from the inside blah blah blah all that fun stuff

Would appreciate some help, I’d rather not spend trillions getting chinese retail stuff when these things are made here
