Passport lost?

i (sender) shipped my passport via DHL last Tuesday from Frsnkfurt Germany to Berlin Germany. Since Friday last week there has been no movement. im so frustrated because i need to submit the passport for korean Visa. im scheduled to go to Korea in less than 3 months. Already filed a nachforschung. Should I just wait or do i report my passport as lost and get a new one? did anyone have experiences where the tracking has not updsted but the parcel was delivered? last tracking was friday said it reached destination region.
