Required 1 year housing

I called the councilor office today, I think it was the councilor office people. They actually told me that I was required to live on campus for a year even if I’m transferring into Pepperdine as a Junior. She stated that they can make exceptions only if you’re like close enough to commute to the Uni but it’s very unlikely that they’ll like let you live off campus.

Basically I’m wondering if anyone else also had to live on campus as a transfer. Bc I originally planned to live off campus w my parent, but now idrk tbh.
