[Discussion] Where to find work as an illustrator

I'm about to graduate from art college and I want to get myself out there, just that I have no idea where to find authors/companies/.. that are open to hiring illustrators, especially for novices like me.

Where should I begin looking?

I know of Reedsy that connects authors with illustrators, though I'm not sure if they only allow professionals on there or not.
