this is getting out of hand.. 💔✌

One day my mother was looking for a female bearded dragon and we had checked every place besides pet smart (pet smart is a animal store and i hope im saying the right one) so we call them and we ask do you have bearded dragons, the lady on the other end is like yes we do so my mother asks if they have any females? and.. the lady says um "we dont genderize our animals.." oh! um so we think like do they just not check them?? so we ask do you guys not check them like can we go over to the store and see if there are females because were trying to mate our bearded dragons, we really thought like we had high hopes that they just didnt check the animals but.. the lady then says "well we dont check them because even though theyre animals they should have a say in if they want to be a different gender so it doesnt feel right putting a gender on a animal, like what if your "male" bearded dragon didnt want a female you cant just assume that" .....oh okay.. um.. so.. i dont know what to say to that.. i really.. really.. am confused now so we said thanks for your time and hung up still thats just.. fascinating
