is anyone else outgoing but socially anxious?

i had a friend that would invalidate the fact that i’m socially anxious just because i can be outgoing in some situations and she’s less outgoing than me. while i understand maybe finding it confusing ive always wondered why she couldn’t get my repeated explanations or how social anxiety isn’t one size fits all. anyone else?
