one day Lofoten tour from Svolvaer - help me choose one

We will be in Svolvaer for 3 nights in May. We have already booked a Trollfjord boat tour on one day. That leaves one full day to tour the Lofoten region, and we are looking at one of the many available one-day tours, or maybe hiring a car. We are most interested in natural scenery, followed by architecture if it is particularly interesting.

So given that, what places do people think are the best to visit? i.e. if you were planning a Lofoten day tour for a couple interested in natural scenery, what would be the top 3 places you would recommend?
