for context I have done coaching in 11th and 12th and was a complete idiot to not give my best due to this regretted a lot and eventually went into depression mid 12th and left jee prep to at least study for boards and somehow did that .

now I am confused what to do considering my confidence is gone completely after what I did .

1) take a drop and study sincerely this time . I know I will be able to atleast get some good college next if ( getting nothing this year) only if I don't go into my depressive phase again which is my biggest fear .

2) go to a private low tier but high fees college that has companies coming to it's campus for placement. have to fight my parents for this and the only fear being what if I fumble there.

3) go to a low tier , low fees college which will have no companies coming to it's campus and I would have to get off campus placement. only advantage is I have family members in this industry so will get referral.

4) do bsc and then gov job ( my parents want this ). obviously if I can't crack a gov job then I will be left unemployed.

I am not a bad student just the thing is I now feel I am incompetent to build a career because of my actions in the past has totally wrecked my confidence.

please help me out and if you have any other better suggestion then too feel free to give out some . I would really appreciate your help 🙏
