im trying to install endeavour on a 2020 macbook and the usb drive wont show up on the boot menu

im trying to install on a 2020 macbook and the usb drive wont show up on the boot menu. I assume its becuase its over a ubs hub and i cant see it on boot but i have no other choice its only got usb-c. are any of the ports just not boot ports??
