"Backup" to nextcloud

I was curious if this makes sense, I was wondering if I could / should use nextcloud as a backup using the folder structure from Immich. Why? It is nice that the backup location does have a browser / user friendly interface if needed to skim through photos. Could even be used to share (read only) stuff to family members...

Does this make sense or should I invest in better Immich remote access security?
