built and shipped a full SaaS product in one session using claude — visa assessment tool with scoring engine, lead capture, PDF reports, admin dashboard, and analytics

sharing because i think this is a good example of what's possible with claude right now.

i had an idea for a tool that scores schengen visa applications before people submit them (huge pain point for indian travelers). started the conversation with claude on claude.ai, then moved to claude code for the build.

what got built in a single session:

• react + vite frontend with a 35-question assessment quiz
• weighted scoring algorithm across 6 dimensions (financial, travel history, employment, etc) with penalty system for dangerous combinations
• lead capture form with validation
• supabase backend storing all assessments
• PDF report generator (6 pages, personalized)
• shareable results with unique URLs
• admin dashboard with lead management and analytics
• GA4 event tracking
• serverless API functions on vercel
• SEO optimization, blog system
• deployed to custom domain on vercel

the scoring engine was the most impressive part — claude helped me think through how visa officers actually evaluate applications and built a multi-layer system with base scores, consistency checks, compounding penalties for weak combinations, and hard caps for dealbreaker scenarios.

the workflow was: claude.ai for strategy and prompts → claude code for all the coding → vercel for deployment. i'm not a developer — i understand tech but couldn't have written this code myself.
