26F - looking for reading buddy bff/s

I read mostly romance, historical, young adult, thrillers, and a bit of fantasy (IF I HAVE THE ENERGY). I love getting emotionally invested in characters, screaming over plot twists, and sending random updates like “WHY DID THIS HAPPEN???” mid-book, ifykyk.

Last year I went a bit intense and read around 265 books but now I’m trying to be more mindful with my reading slowing down, actually soaking in the stories instead of rushing through them.

I don’t really have friends who read books, and my fiancé isn’t into reading either, so I’ve been missing that kind of connection where you can just talk about a story non-stop with someone who gets it.

It would be nice to have someone to read the same books with (or even different ones) and just chat about them no pressure, just fun and genuine connection. Bonuse if you also enjoy fangirling, sharing recs, and talking about life in between chapters.
