Old GPU with new CPU (Intel / AMD)
Hi. I recently got myself a new PC with intel core ultra 225 (with igpu). I do not plan to play games on it (except maybe some old games from 2010-2015) and I was thinking of fixing my old gpu RX 550 from old PC. The computer will be used for simple office work and media consumption for the most part. Will this combination ruin the system? I am not well-versed with terms like bottle-necking but since the gpu is obviously an old model, I thought about asking here before making a move
If it is not a good fit, in today's market what would be an ideal gpu to get? Any reply would be appreciated. Thanks
