Uber SDE-1 | Waitlisted after Interview

Hey everyone,

I recently finished the interview loop for an SDE 1 position at Uber. The recruiter just reached out with the following update:

"Your interview performance was good; however, we are waiting for finalization of additional headcount before extending new offers. We have placed your application on our 'Active Waitlist'; your interview performance remains valid for the next three months."

Has anyone been on an "Active Waitlist" at Uber recently? How often do these actually turn into offers?
