packing up made me realize i own way too much crap
so we're supposed to be out of here by this weekend and wow, i had no idea how much stuff we accumulated. thought we were doing pretty good keeping things minimal but apparently not - our living room looks like a warehouse explosion right now with all these boxes everywhere
this whole process is making me want to just dump half of it instead of moving it. like why do i even have most of this stuff, when did i last actually use any of it
already planning to be way more aggressive when i start unpacking at the new place. instead of asking myself whether i need something, gonna flip it and ask if i can live without it. probably the answer is yes for most of this junk
also thinking about letting go of some things i actually like just because having less stuff feels better than holding onto everything. freedom over possessions and all that
next move in a few years better be just throwing a couple boxes in the car, not this madness. anyone else been through this reality check when moving
