Matsya Jayanti how does someone new to Hinduism celebrate?

I don't know much about the holiday tomorrow. what should I do? only that it's honoring Lord Vishnu's avatar. is this correct?

it also says on Google it honors Ganguar Tritiya.

I will research both deities...

Ive only read that I should fast until the sun goes down.

what prayers?

thank you.
