should i reprint print my spool rings out of tpu

i printed my spool rings out of tpe and they seem ineffective and realy noth thermally reistant enough and defprming when dryingpla. not all of hem but some are but what if i printed them out of tpu. it has a more rubber like texture and probably grips better. ill explore reusable spools later but this is a for now deal so should i print spool rings out of tpu
