All alone

I’m so lonely. I’m in this big house alone all week.

It’s scary at night.

I hope nothing happens.

I feel like I can hear things. I can’t sleep. Last night I saw someone standing in the corner of the room and I couldn’t move. For hours.

I just know that if I fall asleep, I’ll feel that hand on my throat again. That hand tearing at my clothes, holding me down. Long pale fingers in my mouth. Thin black wire around my neck.
