Anyone buy from Kitemana and ship to US - how much are customs fees?

Thinking about buying a kite but the customs fees are pretty vague, have no idea if the customs fees are $50 or $300 on a $1600 kite. Has anyone purchased and gotten charged customs fees from UPS? How much are they typically? The kite I'm looking at is $1600 if that matters
