Hello everyone. In my observations, I came to the conclusion that Mao Mao and Guts from Berserk are similar characters in many ways.

The first thing is this. Guts got a nickname "The Black Swordsman," and Mao Mao is literally a Black Swordsman. He's a swordsman, and he's a black cat.
Both of them were pinned to the ground at some point, lost body parts and were susceptible to betrayal, but at least in the case of Mao Mao, everything was much softer.
As a child, Mao Mao's sword was quite large for him, like Guts, who, however, always carries a giant sword with him.
Mao Mao was dressed in a hybrid-type suit, and at the same time he has a giant sword on his back. What could it be, if not a reference?
In the cartoon and in the anime 1997, they have very similar voices! Both of them take an example from Batman and his low, hoarse voice. You might even think that they were all voiced by one person.

There are still a lot of similarities that I still want to keep silent about, but it's all really amazing, at least for me.

Mao Mao often hints at Guts in his image, as if he were its analogue for a children's audience.
So, what do you think the story would be like if these two met each other? Would they become friends fighting side by side, or would they become enemies? Who would end up in whose world and what would they do to achieve their goals?
I would be interested to know your opinion and what do you think about all this. Do you consider them both to be guys who are quite similar to each other?

Thank you all for your attention.
