Barber Recs

Hi yall

been in San Diego for a couple years now and have yet to find a quality barbershop. tried pappys (never going there again) and 10 or so others and always leave disappointed. even when I show them clesr pictures of myself with the haircut I'd ge in my last city, I'd walk out with something completely different.

anyways I'm trying to switch up my look, and i really want to find a barber that takes a little time to help figure it out with you. the last couple times I go in with some ideas and they all just say "whatever you want to do" and that's not really helpful for me, I'm looking for some actual input from a professional. so I end up just doing the same old same old.

anyways, anyone know a barber who actually goes the extra mile and knows their shit? Hell I'd even go to a salon if that's what it takes.
