Well i have finally been able to go through imtiaz ali's all movies which he has made or has been a part of . as someone who enjoys raw cinematography and impact of shadows and isn't a cinephile i can surely say his movies loose the spark while watching it for second time . storyline is great but if you are a gangs of wasseypur /oye lucky lucky oye enjoyer you won't easily be able to go through the movie at once (personal experience). His movies doesn't have those dopamine hits in the middle.

except a few the rewatch value just declines and specially for rockstar though jab we met , highway, love aajkal are very good movies in case you are bored and can re watched multiple time as well . sometimes it does irritates me that his fan following functions like a cult who are still trying to find out every ounce of detail imtiaz has given in the movie and its really appreciable but please stop selling it's story like your life depends of in it . At this point of time they are drawing random conclusions from rockstar and tamasha for example when imtiaz says that jordan dies in the end , i mean dude you should have shown it in the movie , your film is not a part of cinematic universe the time movie ends jordan and heer loose relevance in real world what is relevant is their story . (if these things can happen with any movie even i can interpret that either of paro or chanda died and movie ended before that or that devdas came back to life or maybee kareena hrithik or shahrukh kajol got divorced few years after k3g )

Imtiaz ali , his screenplay , his creations and his fanatics..
