Going back to grind settings on a stepless grinder? [Eureka Single Dose Pro]

So I've got a Eureka Mignon Single Dose Pro on the way and wondering how people handle switching beans.

If I dial in a bag and note the grind setting, can I just go back to that later and be pretty close? Or do you end up tweaking it every time anyway?

I know beans change over time etc., but I’m thinking more in practice - like if I have guests and want to quickly switch back to a bean I’ve already dialed in.

How reliable is it really?
