Hello everyone. I've been developing several tools I needed to make my life easier, and I think one of them might interest you.
I've built a Faceplate Generator to speed up the design process.
Features:
- Project Naming & Save/load project as JSON file.
- HP selector (2 to 60) - Supports 3U, 1U Intellijel, and 1U Pulp Logic.
- Smart Mounting: automatic hole positioning (round or oval).
- Basic components: pot, jack, switch, button, LED.
- Footprint loader per component.
- Automatic component collision detection: displays in red when two components overlap.
- Component list by category for easy manipulation.
- Properties panel per component.
- Upload your artwork for preview.
- R to rotate 90 degrees / Delete to delete.
- Pan and zoom.
- Export layered SVG vectors for laser cutting.
I'm building my website, a combination of industrial music, audiovisual content, a future Eurorack module lab, and free software and tools. It's a disaster right now, haha.
