Looking for nerdy/anime places to eat at?

My husband and I are anime lovers. We love going to anime/japan inspired places. We are trying to find a fun place with nerdy vibes we can go to early in the day while our son is at school! We only have a couple of weeks till my husband has to return to work and our son is severely autsitic and requires a lot of our attention so we really just wanna enjoy our time alone together before he has to go back to his 12-16 hour job!

To be more exact we live in downey! So anything within a 10 to 15 mile radius is ideal for us to venture to since we cant be too far since we gotta pick up our son by 2pm.

Weve already been to The Asayoru maid cafe a few times but honestly as much as we love our maids the food aint the best 😬

We just want to go to a place with decent food and fun vibes! Any recs?
