Health/Medical PMs - What Is Up With Your Hiring Practice?

Been seeing almost every Healthcare role (even the sub-domains like IT) asking a Masters in a Healthcare field, PgmP, 10 YOE+ and specific stack experience.

Saw a listing today asking for all of the above for......65k a year, hybrid. Normally I'd think this is your typical H1B BS but it's been pretty consistent across different hiring orgs.

Now granted, I'm not a believer in the "PM's don't need domain knowledge" field but IT Delivery is IT Delivery the functional use-case is exactly the same where as the regulatory compliance may be a tad different procedural. It's negligible for experienced PMs.

So what the hell is going on? Is there some IT niche that is unknowable outside of a hospital room?

Sincerely, a confused former Director of PM in Big Tech.
