As-salāmu ʿalaykum, (23F)

I’m reaching out with a heavy heart, as I’m currently going through a very difficult financial situation and would sincerely appreciate any support.

I grew up in a strict household, and when I later experienced independence, I made some poor decisions. I got into trading without fully understanding the risks. At first, I experienced success and made money quickly, which gave me false confidence.

When I eventually lost that money, I tried to recover by taking out loans, thinking I could make it back. Instead, I fell into a cycle of debt that I couldn’t control.

Right now, I am in around £10,000 of debt. I was working to repay it, but after losing my job a few months ago, I’ve been struggling to keep up.

I take full responsibility for my mistakes, and I am trying to make tawbah and correct my situation. I am actively looking for work and doing what I can to repay what I owe.

The Prophet ﷺ taught us the importance of helping those in difficulty, and I humbly ask if you are in a position to help, even a small amount like £1 would mean a lot to me.
