Man, the year and a half I've had... you cannot begin to imagine... epic low after epic low. Frankly, gear has been completely off my radar, as money has been beyond tight. But recently I fell into this reckless Marketplace-scouring mode and have been a bit stupid. I haven't had a shred of luck in all this time, but last night saw a dude who lived an hour and a half away list these crusty darlings and I was able to get 'em both for $200 CAD (or around $144 USD). Making the trek reminded me of the good old days when I used to go on such missions for gear- it felt really nice, tbh. Not to mention, the dude ended up being a total sweetheart and we chatted music for a solid 30 and will keep in touch- hooray for like-minded new friends. He was a touring musician who used these on the road all over the place in the 2000's and 2010's, but now only plays acoustic. I'd owned a couple of Fuzz Factories in the past, and I can honestly say this one is my all-time favourite... it's significantly warmer, smoother, and just more musical than prior (later) ones I've owned, and I've heard that about these earlier ones- not sure what it is, the transistors I'm assuming? Never selling this thing. Also, the universe is funny- just yesterday morning, I was thinking about how much I'd love to have an FF again... sure enough, the very same evening I'm blessed with this listing! Man, the FF instantly inspired a new riff/progression. The Rat... I only ever owned a later-2000's Rat II and don't recall ever getting on with it... I just played this one for a solid 30 min and enjoyed it more than I remember enjoying my old one- not really 'me' in the way the FF is, but I can def see it growing on me. Beyond beyond stoked with these two new pedals and just feels great to pick up some gear after so long. Sorry for the long post, I'm just genuinely stoked and really needed this.

At long last, luck was on my side today- scored these two on Marketplace for under $150!!!
