Career transition from data to 3d development

Hello guys,

I am a data analyst with decent ML and AI skills. And also I have built some IoT devices as well as part of my hobby. Recently I grew an interest in 3d development. Just wanted to hear if any one shift from data analyst role to a role that involves 3d development.

How do you do the transition and is it worth it in future? How’s the market right now for those kinda roles
