Is there a way to make the steam Self-voicing/steam screen reader sound better or change it?

Hey, my sister asked me for help because she recently got a PC. She has pretty bad eyesight and doesn’t always like wearing her glasses. (for some reason)

We found out there’s a screen reader on Steam, which is great—but the downside is that it doesn’t sound very good, and the other screen reader she typically use doesn’t seem to work in-game.

I didn’t even know Steam had a screen reader before this, and I’ve tried looking things up online but haven’t found much—so I thought I’d ask here.

Is there any way to make it sound better, or will she just have to deal with it?
