Questions around the whole chiraiya debate?
First, let me make my position absolutely clear: I am completely against any form of non-consensual sex. I believe every individual has full autonomy over their own body. Both women and men have the absolute right to say no at any point in time if they do not want to engage in something.
With that said, I have a few genuine questions about the Chiraiya debate that I’d like to understand better and discuss respectfully:
What is a man supposed to do??? this question comes out of a genuine case I know is happening with an acquaintance......he's been married for 2 years....his wife has never had sex with him till date...he did everything the society told him to do....did not date, did not have a relationship abstained from sex till marriage.. for almost 16 years after he hit puberty........he was told that after marriage he can have as much sex as he wants.....but he says his wife denied sex to him almost for 6 months after marriage and then he stopped trying thinking that when she is ready she will initiate it herself......it's been 2 years now and things haven't gotten anywhere.....let's be clear now...men get horny....that's basic biology that cannot be changed.....so in this case....what is a man supposed to do??? if he tries to file for divorce then there is a 50% chance that the Indian judicial system will give her half of his shit... if he tries to get sex outside then his wife finds out and then again there is 50% chance that the Indian judicial system gives her half his shit again.....so what is he supposed to do in this case.....
