Watching Wednesday

Weekly Post

This is our weekly thread to discuss your plans, experiences, and all things watching bike racing—whether you’re roadside, sofa-bound, or somewhere in between.

Have you stood shoulder-to-shoulder on a cobbled berg, feeling the thunder of the peloton as it rattles past? Tell us everything—your tips, your triumphs, your “never again standing there” moments.

Plotting your own pilgrimage to the races? Lay out your plans and let the hive mind guide you on where to go, where to stay, what to eat, and—most importantly—where to witness the decisive set pieces that will decide the last quarter.

And if you’re glued to the screen, ready to praise a perfectly timed attack or unleash fury at questionable announcers… this is your arena. Keep it spicy, keep it respectful.

We are now deep in the sacred rites of Spring. The cobbles are calling, the legs are screaming, and the tension is rising as we delve into the cathedral of cycling: Ronde van Flanders — positioning battles, narrow roads, lung-busting climbs, cobbles, even gravel now —it’s all here, and at a glorious 279 miles no wonder it's referred to by obsessive fans as the true Hell of the North.
