What is your private solo practice rate in CA?

Hi everyone! I know rates can vary quite a bit depending on state, setting, and experience, so I completely understand there isn’t a single standard answer.

I’ve been seeing a lot of OTs on TikTok who are in areas like San Diego, CA, USA and Sacramento, CA, USA, and many of them mention charging around $150 per private session when working independently. I’ve also seen some say they charge about $100 for 30 minutes, and others around $140 for a 40-minute session.

For those of you offering private-pay OT services (not through insurance or agencies), what do you typically charge per session/hour? I’m just trying to get a general sense of what’s considered average or reasonable in different markets. Appreciate any insight!
