Need some advice on this please

Took my friends 2015 subaru Impreza with 75k miles on it to a shop for a diagnosis. The autel scanner pulled up nothing however after the scanner was used it appears as if the scanner caused some sort of electrical malfunction in the car. The reverse lights and backup camera stopped working, the car mirror knob doesn’t work anymore and the heated seats have no power. Triple checked both fuse boxes under the hood and inside the car beneath the steering wheel. None of the fuses were blown, did a full battery reset and checked the fuses dedicated to the accessories or heated seats. Thought maybe the inhibitor switch was out due to the reverse lights not engaging when putting the car in reverse but the car runs completely fine, starts in park or in gear, no check engine light either.. Prior to the diagnostic test, every electrical component of the car worked completely fine. However, I was told that scanners dont cause any electrical issues but I’ve heard a few people have electrical issues after using a scanner. I was also thinking if the BCM could have had some sort of malfunction causing the problem to the components listed above but every other light works, even the letters that outline the heated seats works and lights up just fine other than the actual heated seats functioning properly or at all. Im thinking it could be a bad wire somewhere in the harness but I don’t get how all of this went out at once. Could all these components be connected to the same circuit? Maybe that could be the loss of power in those components but I’m basically stuck and not sure what I should do. Should I get another scanner to diagnose a potential malfunction? What do you guys think.
