Worried I over fed my kitten :(

I adopted a kitten 3 months ago when she was 8 months old, now she’s 11 months. I’ve been feeding her 260 calories a day in dry and wet food. She weighs 9.2 lbs, but I feel like she looks and feels too chunky. I’m worried that I’ve been feeding her too much, or that the kitten food was too calorie dense. I’m in the process of switching over to adult dry food.

Should I feed her slightly less calories until she looks to be not overweight? Thank you for any advice!
