Harmless OPT

OPT = odorless paint thinner

I've been thinking for sometime taking up painting, even though I'm a bad artist it might still not be a bad venture to at least give a try with how Bob makes it super-easy to paint nice-looking landscape using the wet on wet technique. However are there any completely safe and harmless OPTs to use? Paint thinners and even odorless ones are highly toxic and it's widely speculated Bob's prolonged exposure to it over the years and especially when smacking the brush to shake off the excess thinner was a major contributor to his health issues. Further compounding this is I live in a fairly small apartment with animals to boot, so a completely safe, harmless and non-toxic OPT that poses no health risks at all to people or animals is a must.
