best cigars for beginners that will not make you sick?

i just got into cigars a few weeks ago and honestly the options are a bit overwhelming. walked into a shop and the guy behind the counter asked me and i did not say that i am new to it and i ended up grabbing something random lol. i am hearing about mild connecticut wrappers being a good starting point, but i'm still not sure if it will make me sick like the first one. i dont want to commit to a box of something and hate it.
